Change is coming.

Over the years The Barn has led the way, not only in providing the best quality treatments but also in creating therapeutic design led spaces. For this new and inspiring decade the barn will launch a fresher, wiser and more sophisticated style inspired by themes such as Minimal, Travel, Natural, Contemporary, Sensory and Luxury.

Respectful of the ancient character of the oak frame and natural stone, the essence of the barn will be juxtaposed with more contemporary minimal elements such as polished concrete, Scandinavian influenced bleached natural timber and fabulously rich textured Zellige tiles.

The fresh new look of the barn will still maintain familiar touches such as the luxurious and healing copper bath but in a new and exciting location and those trademark moroccan elements.

A spacious re-designed chill out area will create a more comfortable haven of serenity. Vintage danish furniture from iconic design brands such as Royal Danish will sit alongside classic textured yet graphic Berber Beni Ourain rugs.

Always aware of the environment and waste our treatment rooms will benefit from softening recycled plastic rugs sourced from Devon. The existing recycled timber shelving will be repositioned in to our expanded Retail space.

Treatment rooms will have a more minimal new look with crisp white linen and we will be Introducing names to all our treatment rooms.

Travel has been at the core of the inspiration for the updated Barn: Morocco still has a presence in the rugs and ceramics in a more paired down form. Recent trips to Denmark and Stockholm bring that minimal Scandinavian vibe yet mixed with the odd eclectic vintage design led piece. From further afield fine linen screens inspired by world beauty leaders in South Korea will create more privacy.

Statement design classics by designers such as Serge Muller, Tom Dixon, Asplund and Hay Design to name but a few elevate the minimal natural neutral palette and accents of nature add that all important connection with our earth.

More function and practicality is found with the addition of a dedicated wet room shower for post massage and scrub treatment refreshes along with the revival of the ever popular spray tan service. This area will be clad in a fantastic recycled plastic slab created from yogurt pots!

The highlight of the refurbishment will be the brand new spacious and luxurious signature treatment suite, almost a mini barn within a barn…

To create this beautiful interior restyle, we will be closing The Barn from the 10th -13th August. Reopeing on the 14th, and finishing off with our biggest event to date on the 19th August - Sensory Awakening Event in collaboration with our 10 year anniversary and our new look.
